Millis Mascot Name - Public Forum

The Millis School Committee will be holding a Public Forum on February 2,
2021 to hear public comment on the use of the Mohawk name to represent
the Millis Public Schools. The forum topic will be limited to the usage of the
Mohawk name as the Committee has previously decided to discontinue the
use of Native American imagery as the logo. The School Committee invites
all interested individuals to submit their comments regarding the continued
use of the Mohawk name via the Comment and Participation Form.

When completing the form please indicate whether or not you would like to
share your comment with the public via Zoom video participation at the
meeting on February 2nd.

PLEASE NOTE:
1. Requests to video comment must be submitted by Sunday, January 31,
2021 at 8am. Comments will be limited to 3 minutes.
2. All comments submitted via the Comment and Participation Form will be
read and considered by School Committee members but will not be read
aloud at the Public Forum.
3. To share your comment with the public please request to participate in
the forum by video via the Comment and Participation Form.
4. The Committee will not accept or read comments submitted via the
"chat"; or "Q&A" feature during the Public Forum.
5. The Comment and Participation Form will remain open for comment
submission through February 5th .
