A selection policy applies to the purchase or donation of library reading
materials and A.V. software.
The basic factors influencing selection shall be the curriculum, the interests,
abilities and backgrounds of the students using the materials, and quality and
accuracy of available materials.
After consultation with administrators and teachers, the librarian shall order
appropriate reading and resource materials.
